Reboard ("the app", "we") is an iOS keyboard extension that translates text fully on your device. This page explains exactly what data the app handles, where it goes, and what it does not do.

The short version

Reboard has no servers and no backend. It does not send what you type anywhere. All translation happens on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Translation. There is no third-party service and no account.

What we do not collect

Data that stays on your device

Translation (on-device)

Reboard uses Apple's on-device Translation framework. Text you type and tap Translate on is processed locally by iOS on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to Apple, to us, or to any third party. After a one-time language download, translation also works with no internet connection.

Sign in with Apple

The app offers optional Sign in with Apple. If you use it, Apple may share your name and email with the app on first sign-in. These are stored locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to us or any third party. You can sign out at any time.

Notifications

The app may show local notifications (only if you opt in). All notifications are generated on-device, we do not have a push server.

Children

Reboard does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, the date at the top will change. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
